Domestic Guest Student Program

Spend an undergraduate semester studying in the Ivy League

The Domestic Guest Student Program offers undergraduate students at colleges around the US an opportunity to experience Penn’s academics and student life on our historic campus. If you are a full-time undergraduate student at a US college or university, you may apply to enroll full-time at Penn for one semester. The program is designed to complement your current undergraduate program, and earn credits that you will use towards graduation at your home institution.

Young Scholars High School Program

The Young Scholars High School Program allows outstanding juniors and seniors attending a local high school to take college courses in the fall and spring semesters. In the Young Scholars Program, you can pursue your discipline beyond the level offered in secondary schools, get a head start on your college requirements, or explore a brand-new field that interests you. It’s an exciting chance to explore new ideas and experience life in a college classroom.

Applied Geosciences Program

Advance your career and make an impact in environmental geology, hydrogeology, and engineering geology—all online

Whether you are an experienced geoscientist or preparing to expand your science or engineering geology experience, you can advance in the field without relocating or interrupting your career. Get connected with the world-class resources of an Ivy League institution while you gain theoretical and technical expertise in geochemistry, geophysics, hydrogeology, and engineering geology.

Penn Summer Abroad students featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer

Penn Summer Abroad offers undergraduate students the opportunity to dig deep into the topics that excite them amidst the world’s most extraordinary cultural and environmental sites—all while earning academic credit.

PSA programs pack the best of the study abroad experience into an unforgettable two to six weeks: Penn faculty experts, a cohort of peers united by common interests, and exposure to new ideas and traditions around the globe.

ImpactEd puts research into action with the Drink Philly Tap initiative

ImpactEd, a Penn LPS program that equips social and public sector leaders for greater impact, annually partners with more than 50 organizations in the region to strengthen their effectiveness. Its partnership with the Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) is particularly noteworthy and illustrates the ImpactEd approach of putting research into action.
