Since 1995, communication specialist, educator, and author Brian Shapiro has been exploring the countless nuances, challenges, and rewards the human communication process offers. An instructor at Penn in the Organizational Dynamics Programs and at the Wharton School, Brian designs and delivers organizational communication professional development programs across multiple industries. Brian is also active in the performing arts, having written and performed in numerous original interdisciplinary productions. A dedicated tai chi, yoga, and meditation practitioner, Brian attended a doctorate program in performance studies at The University of Texas at Austin. He also holds a BA (San Diego State University) and MA (San Francisco State University) in communication studies.
