Customized programs

As part of Penn’s School of Arts and Sciences and the College of Liberal and Professional Studies, the Professional and Organizational Development group delivers dynamic, applied non-credit programming relevant to today’s global and connected workplace. Through our team, you gain access to the world’s leading experts in the arts and sciences who help you navigate the challenges facing your organization.

Professional and Organizational Development offers customized programming that builds upon your company’s goals and strategy customized programming in areas of expertise ranging from positive psychology and leadership development to English language skills and social norms. Our non-degree programs are flexible both in their content and delivery (online, in-person, or a combination). We work with your organization to assess its unique needs, and in turn, craft courses, workshops, lectures, and instruction from our robust portfolio of disciplines.

Custom program spotlight: Penn Resilience Program

Our Professional and Organizational Development team can help tailor a resilience workshop, class, or programming for your group’s needs based on The Penn Resilience Program, developed by Dr. Karen Reivich of the Penn Positive Psychology Center. Dr. Reivich’s approach is evidence-based programming focused on practical skills that increase the ability to bounce back from adversity and to grow and thrive professionally and personally and features a unique train-the-trainer model.
