Course Description
This course is designed to improve students writing and speaking competencies,
to increase their vocabulary, to deepen grammar usage, and to help them
develop effective reading and listening strategies in Indonesian. The
authentic Indonesian reading texts and videos provide cultural and historical
background information. In class, students will practice grammar, interpret
reading texts, analyze and discuss Indonesian cultural practices and compare
them with their own.
