Course Description
This course will introduce students to key economic concepts such as scarcity, efficiency, monopolies and cost-benefit. Students will practice applying these principles to the range of decisions that public sector executives have to make in order to understand the trade-offs inherent in any public policy or program.
 Also, please note there is an additional $150 online course fee. 

The course will consist of a combination of once-a-week live Zoom sessions on Monday evenings from 7:45-8:45 pm and four intensive Fridays (1/15, 2/19, 3/19, and 4/23) from 9:30 am - 5:30 pm. Due to safety considerations this semester,the intensive Fridays will take place over Zoom as well, unless the University of Pennsylvania deems it safeenough to resume in-person meetings.Please note: First day of classes is January 13th.
