Course Description
In Intermediate Tibetan I, students will continue to develop their
 understanding of the fundamentals of the Tibetan language in its literary and
 spoken forms.  Students will expand their vocabulary while refining their
 knowledge of the different grammatical forms used in literary and colloquial
 Tibetan.  In class students will gain exposure to a range of Tibetan
 literature by reading selections from both classical and modern texts.  We
 will also continue to work with writing Tibetan, to develop reading and
 writing ability in parallel.  Students will also be introduced to Tibetan
 cultural traditions while gaining fluency with conversational skills in daily
 drills of speaking and listening comprehension.
