Erek J. Ostrowski, PhD

Affiliated Faculty and LCC Concentration Chair, Organizational Dynamics Programs; Founder, Verve Coaching

Dr. Erek J. Ostrowski is a senior leadership and executive coach, coaching methods and programs designer, and founder of Verve Coaching. In his professional practice, he designs and facilitates systemic coaching interventions for senior leaders and organizations facing rapid change. At Penn, Erek serves as an affiliated faculty member in the Organizational Dynamics Programs, co-leading and teaching in the Leadership Coaching Cohort concentration. He is recognized for his pioneering contributions to peer group coaching knowledge and practice in entrepreneurial firms, healthcare, finance, and management education.

Erek co-edited the book Innovations in Leadership Coaching: Research and Practice. In 2017, he was awarded a Harnisch Fellowship from the Harvard-McLean Institute of Coaching for his research on navigating entrepreneurial challenges through group coaching. Erek received his PhD in organizational development and change from Fielding Graduate University. He is also a credentialed coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE); and serves as a board member of the Graduate School Alliance for Education in Coaching (GSAEC).
